Intern/Working Student (m/f/d) for Renewable Energies Engineering & Technical AdvisoryDornier Construction and Service GmbHDornier Construction and Service SRLDornier Hinneburg GmbHDornier Group UK Ltd.Dornier Construction and Service GmbH Eesti FiliaalLahmeyer International GmbHWhat you can achieve with us:You help to accelerate the energy transition by providing technical advisory to institutions, project developers and energy off-takers, supporting them from feasibility studies through project development, execution, operation, and beyondYou develop large-scale renewable power systems worldwide, including reviewing technologies, assessing energy yields, optimizing system designs, handling permitting and regulatory analysis, conducting financial analysis, and supporting project managementYou create specialized simulation tools i.e., to evaluate new renewable hybrid power plants and other special applicationsYou research new renewable power applications, evaluate business opportunities, and help enforce their implementationYou support the realization of hybrid renewable energy projects that aim to decarbonize high-energy demand industriesYou optimize renewable generation and storage capacities, create technical drawings of plant layouts, and define technical specifications for projectsWhat convinces us:You are a student in a master's program related to renewable energy technologies (e.g., Bachelor in mechanical, electrical, process engineering or comparable curricula following a consecutive master program)You study and live in Hamburg, and you are willing to do at least a 2-month full-time internship with presence in our office and are willing to continue the internship as a working student activity alongside your studiesYou have first work experience in electrical or mechanical engineering in the renewable power sector and a good understanding of their applications in different market environmentsYou bring experience such as Automation/Grid Integration, PV & hybrid project experience, SCADA/DCS/PLC knowledge, monitoring, and energy management systems for solar and wind farmsYou have basic skills in CAD drawing, renewable power system modelling (like PVsyst, PV*Sol, SAM, PVCase) software programming, and electrical grid modelling in software like Etap, DigSilient are helpfulYour skills include diligent and independent working attitude, analytic and conceptual thinkingYou are fluent in English (spoken and written), fluent skills in German (speaking and writing) are beneficialWhat we have to offer:A group of companies with flat hierarchies and communication at eye levelA working environment that enthusiastically embraces and promotes innovative ideas and sustainable approachesWe support your personal and professional developmentCompany-wide summer party & local Christmas partiesTogether, we stand for our values – reliability, open communication, trust, health and genuine appreciationYour contact person
