Service Technician - Port Machinery & Crane

Location: Bedburg

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Port Machinery (eg: Telehandler, forklifts, heavy forklifts, reach stacker.)
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance according to company standards.
• Support in diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
• Replace components such as filters, hydraulic hoses, pumps, and mechanical parts.
• Ensure accurate reporting of work performed and parts used.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work environment in proper condition.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with site regulations.

Requirements:

• Technical diploma or vocational training in mechanics, mechatronics, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with heavy construction equipment is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of hydraulics, diesel engines, and electrical systems.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
• German language required; English is a plus.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor or on-site environments.
• Willingness to travel for service visits when needed.
