For Integrated Circuit (IC) purchasing, we are searching for Strategic Purchaser (
Nationwide in Germany
) with supply chain expertise including negotiation and risk management, and strong business acumen for cost-benefit analysis. Effective soft skills, such as communication and collaboration across diverse teams, are also critical for bridging technical complexities with business objectives.
We, SIIX Europe GmbH, are the European Headquarters of the Japanese SIIX Corporation, the leading Japanese supplier of E.M.S. (Electronic Manufacturing Services) and mainly active in the field of contract manufacturing and assembly. SIIX Corporation has been a well-known name in the global electronics industry for more than half a century, not least as a distributor of electronic components. Since 1973 in Germany, we are both part of a global production and logistics network, as well as responsible for the entire European business. Among our world-renowned major customers are TIER 1 suppliers of automobile manufacturers as well as well-known companies in the industrial and household electronics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for IC components
- Establish and maintain direct purchasing relationships with component manufacturers, bypassing distribution networks
- Negotiate contracts and terms to optimize cost, quality, and delivery
- Conduct thorough cost-benefit analyses to support procurement decisions
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
- Collaborate across diverse teams to align technical and commercial goals
- Support European operations with strategic purchasing insights and execution
Your Technical Skills
- Understanding of IC design and manufacturing

- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in semiconductor purchasing within the electronics industry
- Existing network and experience in establishing direct accounts with component manufacturers
- Ability to operate independently and strategically within a European procurement context
