As Teamlead Platform Engineering (all genders), you'll take ownership of our cloud infrastructure, shaping the foundation on which all our products run. You lead a diverse and highly skilled team across two locations, empower HolidayCheck's engineers with modern tools, and drive platform evolution in line with our business strategy. Your mission: high performance, scalability, and sustainable cloud architecture.

Your Tasks

• Ensure the reliability, performance, security, and compliance of our cloud platform
• Define and implement the long-term vision for our GCP-based infrastructure
• Lead the modernization of legacy systems and reduce technical debt across the platform
• Enable product teams with self-service tools and platform capabilities that enhance delivery autonomy
• Oversee incident management and drive continuous improvement based on root cause analysis
• Lead, support, and grow a distributed team of 3 software and 6 systems engineers
• Manage the hosting budget and third-party relationships, ensuring cost-efficiency and scalability
• Collaborate with engineering leadership, IT, and cross-functional teams to shape technical direction and standards

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in leading engineering teams in Platform, DevOps, or Infrastructure
• A track record of delivering long-term platform projects while managing day-to-day operations
• Deep hands-on experience with public cloud infrastructure (ideally GCP), infrastructure-as-code, and open-source tools in production
• Strong understanding of scalability, performance optimization, and cloud cost management
• Strategic mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive platform innovation
• High quality standards, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive, reliable working style
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership approach
