Als
Python Backend Developer:in
(m/w/d)
bei SIDES planst, entwickelst und wartest du unsere Backend-Systeme und APIs in Python. Deine Erfahrung mit FastAPI und SQLAlchemy ist dabei zentral, um performante und skalierbare Anwendungen für eine optimale User Experience zu schaffen. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Frontend-Teams und weiteren Kolleg:innen setzt du robuste und effiziente Lösungen um.

Hauptaufgaben:

  • Konzeption, Entwicklung und Wartung von Backend-Services und APIs in Python

  • Austausch mit Frontend-Entwickler:innen zur nahtlosen Integration von UI-Elementen mit serverseitiger Logik

  • Sicherstellen von Performance, Qualität und Stabilität der Anwendungen

  • Implementierung von Security- und Datenschutzkonzepten

  • Schreiben und Pflegen von sauberem, wartbarem Code

  • Durchführen von Code Reviews und konstruktives Feedback an Kolleg:innen

  • Kontinuierliches Lernen und Anwenden moderner Technologien und Best Practices

  • Mitwirkung in agilen Prozessen (z. B. Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospektiven)

Your profile

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten und Qualifikationen:

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium in Informatik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation bzw. entsprechende Berufserfahrung

  • Mehrjährige Erfahrung (5+ Jahre) in der Python-Backend-Entwicklung

  • Fundiertes Know-how in Datenbanken (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, DynamoDB)

  • Erfahrung mit RESTful APIs und Webservices

  • Verständnis von asynchroner Programmierung sowie Event Driven Architekturen

  • Vertraut mit Containerisierung (Docker) und Versionskontrollsystemen (Git)

  • Hohe Problemlösungskompetenz und ausgeprägter Teamgeist

  • Sehr gute Kommunikationsfähigkeit

  • Deutschkenntnisse sind ein Plus für den Austausch mit unserem deutschsprachigen Team und unseren Kund:innen

Von Vorteil:

  • Erfahrung mit Cloud-Plattformen wie AWS, Azure oder Google Cloud

  • Praktische Kenntnisse in FastAPI, SQLAlchemy und ORM

  • Umgang mit CI/CD-Pipelines (z. B. Jenkins, Travis CI, GitLab CI)

  • Grundwissen in Frontend-Technologien (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)

  • Erfahrung im Schreiben von Unit-Tests

  • Praxis mit JIRA

  • Kenntnisse in Microservices-Architekturen und serverlosem Computing
