We're building a high-performance web application and looking for a founding engineer who can operate independently, make strong technical decisions, and deliver production-grade work without hand holding. This role is intentionally challenging; only apply if you have real experience shipping and scaling modern applications.

What You"ll Do :


• Architect, build, and maintain core features using 

, 

, and 
Supabase


• Develop secure, stable APIs and backend services


• Implement scalable data structures using 
MongoDB
 and 
PostgreSQL


• Handle deployments and infrastructure using 
AWS
 (Lambda, EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront)


• Optimize performance across frontend, backend, and database layers


• Work directly with the founder to convert requirements into solid, maintainable systems


• Communicate clearly, reason about trade-offs, and push high-quality code

Must Have :


• Expert-level experience with 

, 

, and 
Supabase


• Strong hands-on experience with 
AWS
 (not theoretical — actual deployment and scaling)


• Deep understanding of 
MongoDB
, 
PostgreSQL
, and schema design


• Proven ability to build full features end-to-end without supervision


• Strong grasp of security, authentication, rate limiting, caching


• Comfortable making architectural decisions and explaining reasoning


• Experience with fast-moving startups or small engineering teams


• Clean, organized Git workflow


• Strong problem-solving ability — you enjoy complexity

Nice to Have :


• Experience with Redis, Vercel Edge Config, or similar caching layers


• CI/CD pipeline setup


• Performance monitoring and observability tools


• SEO-structured architecture (schema, page generation, indexing strategies)
