DieInternational Max Planck Research School for Chemistry and Physics of Quantum Materials ist ein gemeinsames Promotionsprogramm des Max-Planck-Instituts für Chemische Physik fester Stoffe in Dresden, Deutschland, der Technischen Universität Dresden, und der University of St Andrews, Schottland. Alle drei Einrichtungen betreiben erstklassige Forschung im Bereich der Quantenmaterialien. Durch die Zusammenarbeit bieten wir ein äußerst attraktives Gesamtpaket für Promotionsstellen im Bereich der Festkörperchemie und der Physik der kondensierten Materie.
Unser Programm
Unser Programm bietet erfolgreichen Bewerber*innen in einem anregenden Umfeld die Möglichkeit, mit weltweit führenden Wissenschaftler*innen der drei Standorte zu interagieren und zu arbeiten und unsere hervorragende Infrastruktur und Einrichtungen zu nutzen. Unsere Forschung wird großzügig finanziert und erfolgreiche Kandidat*innen erhalten eine wettbewerbsfähige Vergütung, die sich nach dem Hauptstandort ihres Forschungsprojekts richtet.
Unser Angebot
Wir bieten für das Jahr 2026 eine Vielzahl an institutionsübergreifenden Forschungsprojekten an und suchen mehrere Doktorand*innen (m/w/d) mit Interesse an Arbeiten auf dem weit gefassten Gebiet der Quantenmaterialien. Die Forschungsarbeit wird mit Graduiertenkursen und Angeboten zur Weiterbildung kombiniert. Es werden sowohl experimentelle als auch theoretische Projekte angeboten; eine vollständige Liste aller Projekte ist auf unserer Webseite zu finden.
Ihr Profil
Wir suchen exzellente Kandidat*innen aus allen Ländern. Bewerber*innen sollten einen hervorragenden Bachelor- oder Master-Abschluss in einem Studienbereich, der gut zu unseren Forschungsaktivitäten passt.
