A cutting-edge quantum technology company is seeking a Product Owner with a strong background in quantum chemistry and quantum computing. In this role, you'll be responsible for driving the development and implementation of quantum algorithms tailored to quantum chemistry use cases, while also managing customer-facing projects in this space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple quantum chemistry-focused projects, overseeing project management and ensuring the timely delivery of milestones to external stakeholders
  • Design and implement quantum algorithms on both simulators and quantum hardware
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to enable efficient hardware-software integration
  • Share knowledge and contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Support the preparation of grant applications and help shape the strategic direction of the company's work in quantum chemistry
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in quantum algorithms and neutral atom quantum computing

Your Profile:

  • PhD in Physics, Theoretical Chemistry, or a closely related field
  • 3+ years of postdoctoral or industry experience
  • Deep understanding of quantum physics and quantum computing concepts
  • Strong motivation and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
  • Based in (or willing to relocate to) Munich, or eligible to work in Germany/EU
  • Professional fluency in English; German language skills are a plus
