Digital Production Lab

We are a young and dynamic team that explores new digital technologies and hence drives innovations in thefield of advanced data analytics for our corporate Production & Logistics network. Together with othercorporate functions we establish an eco-system to extract and process data across the company. Furthermore,we shape and build up the organization and capabilities that facilitate the realization of the mission to createvalue from data for Production & Logistics, this comprises not only data-governance, architecture, data-engineering or data-science. We are therefore eager to explore, learn and adapt. Moreover, we accelerate ourlearning curve by joining forces with other brands within the Traton Group and VW.

Another portion of our work is the exploration and realization of decisive Data & Analytics UseCases with ourinternational team in Lisbon and Pune.

You will play a critical role with high involvement in strategic work, the chance to grasp a holistic view andpossibilities to contribute and shape the future in data analytics in addition to tangible UseCase work.Moreover, you will be part of a group wide data community to spread and a share experience and competencewith other functions.

Your assignment

• Identification of value-creating use cases for applications of AI / GenAI in Production & Logistics, together with the various business departments
• Exploration and feasibility validation of decisive AI / GenAI UseCases with state of the art and emerging technologies
• Agile implementation of D&A UseCases with our international teams in Lisbon and India (Design, Build, Operate)
• Shaping our Data & Analytics as well as AI strategy for Production & Logistics with internal and external stakeholders from all functions within MAN
• Operationalization of AI strategy: initialization and conduction of projects, support in cross functional projects to establish an eco-system to create value from data and enable AI / GenAI (infrastructure, governance, platforms, etc.)

Your qualifications

• Studies in computer science, software development or mathematics/statistics with focus on data science and AI (or comparable)
• Knowledge in data science and / or software development
• Knowledge of choosing, training and deploying operative Generative AI models (e.g. for Natural language processing)
• Skills in python and relevant frameworks, optional: knowledge/ experience with AWS suite
• Knowledge in data management (data engineering, cleansing, processing, governance, …)
