Managing Director

YOUR MISSION

• Define and execute the plant's strategic roadmap, aligned with global and cluster-level goals.
• Own the site's full P&L, driving EBITDA, operating cash flow, cost optimization, and labor efficiency.
• Lead and develop a cross-functional management team across operations, EHS, quality, supply chain, maintenance, and HR.
• Ensure excellence in plant safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance—striving for zero accidents and maximum reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement through lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and deployment of the Tubes Excellence System.
• Oversee workforce planning, competency development, recruitment, and union relations.
• Lead industrialization and launch of new products—on time, on budget, and to required quality standards.
• Represent the site with key internal and external stakeholders, including global customers and public authorities.
• Actively contribute to global initiatives and collaborate across a network of 20+ international manufacturing sites.

YOUR EXPERIENCE & TALENTS

• Proven leadership in industrial manufacturing, ideally in plastics, extrusion, injection molding, or packaging.
• Demonstrated success managing site-wide transformation, crisis recovery, and operational turnaround.
• Strong command of plant-level P&L, KPI tracking, cost structure, and financial performance.
• In-depth knowledge of EHS strategy and fostering a safety-first, zero-accident culture.
•  Hands-on experience with lean systems (e.g. Six Sigma, Kaizen, or automotive-grade methodologies).
• Skilled in people leadership: workforce planning, team engagement, union relations, and succession development.
• Experience launching new products/processes in a high-performance, quality-driven environment.
• Confident representing the site during audits, customer visits, and interactions with public authorities.
• Fluent in German and English
