Senior Test Engineer (all genders)
you will take a leading role in ensuring the functionality and quality of our products and contribute to the satisfaction of over two million Toniebox users worldwide. If this sounds exciting to you, we look forward to hearing from you

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

• You lead complex, cross-domain system tests across hardware, firmware, and software.
• You define and standardize test methods to ensure complete coverage and consistency.
• You are responsible for the automation strategy: From designing scalable test automation frameworks to integrating them into CI/CD environments.
• You lead system-level validation measures and synthesize data into insights for measurable improvements (product and processes).
• You lead structured problem-solving processes across Engineering and Operations teams.
• You ensure that cross-team feedback loops consistently lead to continuous improvement.

What we are looking for:

• You have a completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• You bring 8+ years of professional experience in electronics and software testing.
• You solve complex, ambiguous, and cross-functional challenges, develop frameworks, and anticipate future problems.
• You take the lead in collaboration, ensure alignment across functions, and act as a mentor.
• You influence direction and results across teams/functions and lead scalable initiatives.
• You possess excellent knowledge of modern test automation (e.g., Python) and the relevant tools (Jira, Git, Testmo).
• You are fluent in English and proficient in German (B2).
• You can imagine supporting your team on-site in Düsseldorf 1–2 times per week.
