(Sr.) IVI System Validation Engineer (IT) (M/F/D)
You will be responsible for
We are looking for talented engineers who are passionate about the automotive industry and are driven to work and learn valuable engineering skills in a dynamic environment. In your role as a System Validation Engineer (f/m/d), you are part of a team responsible for testing the complete System for the IVI systems for new Kia, Genesis and Hyundai brands. To ensure success as a System Validation Engineer, you should be able to validate complete IVI integrated system features like navigation, telematics and streaming services etc. across multiple platforms/ brands both in-vehicle and lab environments. You are the respondent to the queries from Hyundai, Kia and Genesis Europe for field/customer claims with global R&D in Korea.

• Analyse System requirements & check feasibility of testing in simulated and in- vehicle environment
• Develop test cases for system requirements e.g. IVI System incl. Navigation, Telematics- and Streaming- Services
• Integrated test execution on bench and in-vehicle
• Responsible for different test milestones such as quality audits and final gate checks for new platforms
• Close collaboration & Coordination with our Tier-1 partner and our R&D Korean headquarters
• Issue tracking and bug fix control (JIRA) in alignment with carline schedule and SW release plan
• Challenging the technical content under the aspects of performance and competitiveness
• Identify and propose improvement opportunities acc. to EU trends and support their implementation

Who We Are Looking For

• Bachelor or Masters in the areas of Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
• You gathered driving test experience in the EU region for Automotive Infotainment validation
• At least two years' experience in System validation (navigation, connected car services, streaming services)
• Experience in using configuration management or version control tools
• Knowledge about Data analytics is a plus
• Good planning and organizing skills
• Flexible and highly motivated to work in an international environment
• Good command in English
• Readiness to travel or driving test with valid European driving license B
