Area Manager- Nights

The Opportunity

Schedule- Wednesday- Saturday, nights

You will oversee the distribution operation department, partnering with other departments. Monitored and controlled, prioritizes, assigns, and reviews maintain departmental efficiency and meet productivity, volume and quality goals. You will work onsite in Bethlehem, PA and report to the Operational Manager.

Your Impact

• Develop and administer operational procedures for perfectly completing activities for incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of products, and keeping the highest standards of inventory accuracy.
• Network and consult with corporate / site resources and facilities staff to ensure low-cost efficiencies and high service levels are maintained.
• Build a positive, motivating, engaged Culture by modeling QVC Group Values and operating principles, ensuring all employees are treated fairly, ethically, and respectfully.
• Review existing operations to determine what improvements can be made to the department, which allows for cost reduction, increased speed, and improved customer service.
• Oversee daily operations for assigned area, partnering with other departments.
• Identify, report, and communicate with the Department Manager trends and irregularities. Take an approach to analyzing deficiencies and develop plans to correct them.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2 years of demonstrated Leadership/Supervisory experience in a high volume distribution center or warehouse environment.
• Experience in encouraging a positive work environment and partnering with employees
