In your role as Customs and Export Control specialist, you are responsible for the smooth handling of all import and export processes. You are familiar with electronic customs systems, work carefully and methodically, and have a good understanding of complex regulations and procedures. If you also bring a high level of initiative and responsibility, you will fit perfectly into our international team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Completed training in the field of customs, freight forwarding clerk, industrial clerk or comparable.
  • Solid and verifiable knowledge of international customs and export regulations
  • Very good knowledge in export control
  • Good knowledge of rules of origin and preference law
  • Strong English skills, fluent German is required
  • Experience in customs processing as well as knowledge of customs law and the ATLAS customs program
  • Confident use of common MS Office programs
  • Careful and structured working method, organizational and communication skills as well as flexibility and team-oriented demeanor
  • Precise and accurate work, reliability

DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Review and ensure the implementation of continuously changing legal requirements in the areas of customs and export control.
  • Regular communication with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and internal departments is part of your daily work, just like maintaining customs-relevant master data and supporting customs audits and inspections.
  • Direct communication with international customers and partners, correspondence with trade agencies and business partners, coordination with internal interfaces.
  • Independent document processing in international import and export business.
  • Definition and optimization of processes regarding customs clearance and export control.
  • Recording and maintaining order-relevant data.
