• Teaching in English language in the field of Fundamentals and Business Applications of Data Science and Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and LLMs - e.g. in Operations, Process Management, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, and Cybersecurity.
• Academic administration of the study program "M.Sc. AI in Business" including representation internally and externally
• Independent application oriented research in the field of AI in Business or related areas
• Acquisition of third party research funding
• Active participation in faculty and university administration
• Active networking in academia and business, participation in knowledge exchange activities, including projects, company visits, lab activities, and other means of collaboration.
• Contributions to a positive student experience and didactics related concepts and developments

• PhD or equivalent degree in a relevant area
• Substantial experience in data science, analytics, and AI
• Practical experience in development and applications of AI tools in business contexts
• Proficiency in scientific work, usually demonstrated by the quality of the  doctorate
• A strong track record in the application or development of academic findings and methods, gained during a minimum of five years of professional employment in a relevant field – at least three years of these five years must have been outside of a university environment in a relevant industry context.
• Proven track record of university level teaching ability and experience
• Excellent English language skills (C1 or equivalent)
• Intermediate (B2) German language skills or higher are a plus
• Fulfillment of the appointment requirements for professors according to §47 of the Higher Education Act (LHG) of Baden-Württemberg
