To strengthen our rare & epilepsy team, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position , based in Germany.
About the role
The Ecosystem Lead is responsible for the national strategic and operational leadership of the German ecosystem, focusing on rare epilepsy . This role includes managing a team of HCP Partners, implementing the Patient Impact Strategy, and ensuring growth, access, and sustainable performance of the product portfolio.
Who you'll work with
In this role, you will be responsible for the overall cross-functional management of HCP Partners. You will work closely with the National Sales Lead HCP Partners and MSL and Field Medical Leads as well as Market Access, Patient Solution a Digital and Learning & Development . You will ensure that the local team operates to the highest scientific, ethical, compliance and quality standards when interacting with external stakeholders and that the UCB Code of Conduct and industry guidelines are followed. The Ecosystem Lead Epilepsy Germany will report to the National Sales Lead Rare & Epilepsy Germany.
What you´ll do
- Lead the German sales team - coach, train, develop and support team members in accordance with their individual capabilities/competencies to build a high performing team
- Ensure updated training on science, patient identification, UCB products, etc. and partner with cross-functional team members to achieve this goal
- Motivating, inclusive and cross-functional leadership style, allowing for shared responsibility among all Patient Impact members
- Achieve revenue and sales targets, growth of the product portfolio, establishing and expanding the leading market position in defined patient segments
- Responsible for the assigned annual operating expenses and the national sales
- Implement a sense of rare disease way of working & mind-set for all team members
- Set ambitious objectives and drive commercial excellence
Interested? For this role we're looking for the following education, experience
and skills:
- Certificate as Pharmaceutical Sales Rep and/or a university degree in business administration, pharmacy or natural sciences (§ 75 AMG); University degree in natural science or pharmacy
- 5 years of experience in field leadership
- 2 years of rare disease experience and/or neurology
- Coaching & training of sales colleagues (HCPPs)
- Deep knowledge of German pharmaceutical market
- Fluent in English
- Team player, x-functional collaboration experience: Act as a role model for x-functional team members and direct reports
