About the Company

We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer to provide technical support for customers and partners across the EU, UK, and Turkey. This role will work closely with both Key Account Sales and Channel Sales teams to ensure successful adoption of our servo drives, servo motors, PLCs, HMIs, and motion control solutions.

About the Role

The engineer will support OEM/ODM customers, distributors, system integrators, and machine builders, helping them apply and integrate our solutions into real machines. The position requires strong technical expertise, communication skills, and a willingness to travel to customer sites when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Support for Customer Applications
  • Provide application-level technical support for servo drives, motors, PLC systems, HMIs, and motion control solutions.
  • Assist customers in machine commissioning, tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of servo or automation systems.
  • Work with customers' engineering and R&D teams to understand application requirements and deliver suitable technical solutions.
  • Support for OEM/ODM and Joint Development Customers
  • Offer in-depth technical onboarding and training to R&D and application engineering teams of strategic customers.
  • Participate in technical discussions for customized solutions, interface requirements, product adaptation, and validation testing.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team in China to communicate customer needs, feedback, and issue reports accurately and efficiently.
  • Distributor and Partner Technical Enablement
  • Train distributor technical teams on product features, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting methods.
  • Support partners in pre-sales technical queries, solution design, and product evaluation.
  • Assist distributors in building their own local technical capability for supporting end users.
  • On-site Support for Machine Builders / End Users
  • Provide on-site service when remote support is insufficient—such as machine commissioning, fault diagnosis, and system fine-tuning.
  • Support pilot projects, first-machine runs, and acceptance tests at customer facilities.
  • Prepare clear technical reports and improvement feedback after on-site visits.
  • Internal Coordination
  • Work closely with sales teams to support bid proposals, technical clarifications, and customer demos.
  • Coordinate with headquarters engineering, product management, and quality teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Provide structured feedback on product performance and local market technical requirements.

Qualifications

  • Technical Background
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in motion control, servo systems, PLC programming, or machine commissioning.
  • Familiarity with industrial control systems such as servo drives/motors, PLCs, HMIs, fieldbus (EtherCAT, CANopen), and automation software tools.
  • Experience with machine builders, automation integrators, or industrial equipment manufacturers preferred.

Language & Communication

●Fluent English required; German is a strong advantage.

●Additional European languages are a plus (Italian, French, Turkish, etc.)

Other Requirements

●Willingness to travel frequently within Europe and occasionally to China for training.

●Customer-oriented mindset with patience and a "service-first" attitude.

●Able to work independently in a fast-growing overseas organization.
