Team Lead Buying

Our ABOUT YOU OUTLET is the off-price business of ABOUT YOU. We combine fashion, e-commerce, and smart processes to build a strong assortment and spot the latest trends. The team works data-driven, hands-on, and always with growth in mind.
We're looking for a Team Lead Buying (m/f/d) to strategically shape our assortment across Europe. In this role, you identify opportunities, drive key analyses, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. You'll actively shape the future of our outlet and bring your ideas straight into the business.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading the commercial growth by planning, purchasing and developing the brand and product portfolio for ABOUT YOU's Online Outlet
- Ensuring that existing brands and suppliers are fully leveraging their potential
- Maximising assortment opportunities and availability while minimizing risk and adhering to the planned budge
- Managing strategic brand and supplier partnerships
- Leading negotiations on terms and conditions when purchasing products from suppliers and external brands
- Collaborating closely with various departments within the ABOUT YOU organisation, from Merchandise Management, Conditions Management and Supply Chain Management
Requirements
- Degree in economics or business studies
- At least four years of professional experience in a position for independent purchasing of external brands
- Desirable are professional experiences in working with companies/brands in an off-price or outlet segment as well as in driving campaigns for certain categories or brands
- Strong analytical skills, logical thinking and confidence in working with numbers and data
- Strong communication skills and assertiveness as well as several years of negotiating experience
- Structured approach and reliability even in phases of high stress
- Distinct sense of trends and understanding of fashion
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English and German
