Your Contribution

As one of the Product Owners for our Point of Sale (POS), you will own and manage the product roadmap, ensuring features deliver measurable impact. Acting as the product's ambassador, you will align stakeholders, prioritize requirements, and empower agile teams to build solutions that transform the gastronomy industry.

You will join a team that constantly improves our POS in the existing markets (Netherlands, Germany, Spain, France and Italy) but also might look to expand to more countries.

Ingredients for Success

• Proven experience in product management for SaaS or similar tech solutions.  
• Familiarity with design thinking and customer-centric methodologies.  
• Data-driven mindset with ability to derive decisions from metrics and insights.  
• Tech-savvy; experience with software development is a plus.  
• Experience with POS systems or gastronomy industry is highly beneficial.  
• Earlier touchpoints with fiscalization, accounting or programming area is beneficial.
• Fluent in English; German or other languages are beneficial. 
• Openness to travel regularly to the headquarters located on the METRO Campus in Düsseldorf and to our location in Enschede, Netherlands.

This role is part of our Product Team, focusing on our POS solution for the HoReCa sector. You will be responsible for: 

• Managing and owning the product roadmap: gather requirements, prioritize features, and keep stakeholders updated. 
• Defining scope and detailed backlog items (epics, features, user stories) to guide agile development teams. 
• Navigating a dynamic environment, removing cross-functional impediments and aligning diverse stakeholders. 
• Driving data-driven decisions: measure product success,validate hypotheses, and optimize feature impact.
• Communicating effectively across technical and non-technical groups to ensure transparency and progress.
