With our AI-based optimization and trading software, we maximize the revenues of operators of large-scale energy storage and renewables on short-term electricity and balancing markets – while minimizing risks.We're a team of 38 people, combining a warm, supportive team culture with true startup drive. Following our successful Series A, we're expanding our team and looking for motivated people who want to grow with us.Your missionOffice Operations: Support Byron with the daily running of our office – keep our workspace tidy, organized, and well-stocked with supplies and snacks.Meeting Support: Prepare meeting rooms (including IT setup for presentations, video calls, etc.) and ensure everything is ready for both internal and external guests.Hospitality: Welcome visitors and assist with basic hospitality tasks.Employee Support: Be a go-to contact for small team requests (access cards, stationery, small fixes) and coordinate with Byron and our People Operations team.Event Support: Help set up internal events, team meetings, and support with logistics and materials.General Admin: Take on ad-hoc tasks that keep our office life running (cross-team support for HR or Marketing when needed).Your profileYou are enrolled at a university in Hamburg (any field – we care more about your motivation than your major).You have gained first experience in office management, hospitality, or a similar service-oriented role – for example through student jobs, internships, or part-time work.You are comfortable with basic tech setups (presentations, video conferencing tools, meeting room equipment) and enjoy making sure meetings – whether onsite or virtual – run smoothly.You enjoy organizing, have an eye for detail and like to work proactively.Friendly, reliable and service-minded – you like supporting others and getting things done.Good communication in English; German is a plus but not a must.Available for 15–20 hours per week on-site (flexible around exams, of course).Why us?Shape the Future: Help drive the energy transition with us Join a booming market, real startup spirit, and make your mark in sustainability.Connecting & Co-Creating: Strategy off-sites (like Denmark 2024) and onsite weeks for real collaboration and shared ideas.Work Your Way: Home office and flexible hours – you know what works best for you and your team.Team Spirit: Yoga, shared lunches, after-work fun – we support each other and keep the vibe strong, even when it's busy.
