Bank Pictet & Cie (Europe) AG (the "Bank") is seeking to strengthen its European and German Legal team in Frankfurt am Main with a Junior Legal Advisor (m/f/d). 

The Bank operates across Europe, with branches in Luxembourg, Spain, Monaco, France, Italy and the UK.

Your role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Legal Advisor to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our legal department in ensuring compliance, managing legal documentation, and providing assistance in various legal and regulatory matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an individual with initial legal experience to develop their career in a fast-paced and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Assist in drafting, reviewing, and proofreading legal documents, contracts, and agreements.

•    Conduct legal research and provide summaries on various legal and regulatory topics.

•    Support the legal team in ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

•    Maintain and organize legal files, records, and documentation in a structured and efficient manner.

•    Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders on legal and regulatory matters.

•    Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence.

•    Monitor changes in legislation and provide updates to the legal team.

•    Support the team in managing corporate governance and regulatory filings.

•    Handle administrative tasks such as managing deadlines and maintaining legal databases.

Your profile

As a Junior Legal Advisor, you have a Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, ideally with initial experience in the legal or banking sector with a strong desire to grow professionally and embrace challenges. Your strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures allows you to an excellent research with a high attention to detail and accuracy. Fluent in German and English, with proficiency in French as a plus, you possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in an international environment as well as excellent writing, presentation, and MS Office skills.

As part of a small, global, and skilled team, you are proactive, conscientious, and a collaborative team player who thrives under pressure and meets tight deadlines. You demonstrate autonomy, ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion, and the ability to tactfully prioritize competing demands.
