Compliance Officer

Who will you join?

Compliance Officer in Regulatory Compliance and Integrity Team in GC-GD – temporary position for 2 years.

How can you make an impact?

You will:

• Act as a Compliance Officer in all areas of Oversight Activities, NFRM, Horizontal Oversight, and be responsible for integrity topics. In addition, you will work in the area of customer protection
• You identify and evaluate processes and associated compliance risks and monitor them. In compliance projects, you play a key role as a subject matter expert in the planning and implementation of projects, e.g., in the area of non-financial risk management (NFRM). In cross-functional committees and forums you will communicate and promote risk culture within the organization
• The implementation and application of AI in processes and tools is part of your daily business

What are you made of?

Minimum Qualifications

• Law or business degree
• You have gained initial professional experience in compliance or risk management and reviews/audits, ideally in the insurance industry, a consulting firm or a relevant corporate role
• Fluency in German and a good command of English
• Understanding of processes in insurance companies or banks
• Experience of dealing with laws and an understanding of their methodology, structures and contexts. Quick comprehension and a very good ability to work in a structured, thorough and independent manner as part of a team
• You are familiar with and enjoy working on projects
• You take on topics independently and drive them forward
• You enjoy working in a team and want to simplify processes
• You are willing to familiarise yourself with unfamiliar topics, contexts and regulatory areas, and can communicate them in an appropriate manner to the target audience
• You are familiar with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint      

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in insurance or asset management business functions, consulting, digital / tech is a plus
• Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solution
