Your Role
As a Test/Automation Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance and Testing Team, reporting directly to the Head of Quality Assurance & Testing. As a Software Test / Automation Engineer, you accelerate the delivery and improve the quality of 360T platform. You will be responsible for designing and implementing an automation solution for functional and non-functional test requirements whilst working closely with the development and testing team. Ownership is a big part of the role, as you will take over responsibility for products / features etc. and share your knowledge in the team.
Your Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation to define clear test objectives and strategiesDesign and maintain comprehensive test plans and well-structured test cases for both manual and automated testingBuild and optimize regression test suites to ensure consistent quality across software releasesShare responsibilities across manual and automation testing activitiesDevelop and implement automated testing solutions to support various project needsEnhance and scale existing automation frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiencyContinuously review and refine automation approaches to align with evolving project goalsMonitor and report quality assurance metrics regularly to ensure transparency and accountability in deliverablesContribute to improving the overall quality, stability, and performance of the platformCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams including development, support, project management, and business stakeholdersStay informed about emerging testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to drive innovation in testing practices
Your Profile
University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Finance degree is a plus4–5 years of software testing experience, with balanced exposure to manual and automation testingStrong analytical skills, problem-solving aptitude, and attention to detailExperience or familiarity with trading and banking domains is a strong advantageBasic to intermediate skills in writing test automation scripts, preferably in JavaExposure to relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQLExperience testing REST and FIX APIs; hands-on work with applications in Unix/Linux environmentsPractical experience or familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, and CucumberKnowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo) and version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket)Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with an entrepreneurial mindset
