Wenham Carter is proud to be supporting an exciting opportunity with a leading global provider of software solutions for the energy and utilities sector.

Our client is a global software innovator delivering advanced solutions for asset management, grid operations, and protection systems. With a strong international customer base and a growing portfolio of enterprise-grade, cloud-native products, they are entering an exciting phase of expansion. This is an opportunity to join a company that is transforming how grid operators manage and optimise their networks worldwide.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the Network Model Management (NMM) solution - a core component of the client's platform for electrical grid operators. This high-impact role calls for a strategic, hands-on product leader who can drive NMM's evolution, ensuring it continues to deliver market-leading capabilities to transmission and distribution system operators globally.

You will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap, collaborating closely with Engineering, Sales, and Product peers to drive the product through its next stage of functional, architectural, and commercial maturity.

Key Responsibilities

Product Leadership & Strategy

  • Define and drive the vision and strategy for NMM, aligned with the broader platform.
  • Identify market opportunities and guide product evolution toward cloud-native, scalable solutions.
  • Represent the product externally with customers, partners, and industry forums.

Product Execution & Delivery

  • Own the full product lifecycle from requirements to launch and iteration.
  • Translate complex workflows into prioritised product requirements.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to deliver high-quality, timely releases.
  • Support go-to-market initiatives with demos, training, and field enablement.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to align on goals.
  • Leverage customer feedback and market insights to inform roadmap and priorities.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience with Network Model Management systems or network modelling of transmission/distribution grids (CIM, asset hierarchies).
  • Proven success delivering enterprise-grade software products to a global customer base.
  • Experience in NMM, ADMS, EMS, GIS, or other grid software is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in grid operations, predictive workflows, or data validation is a plus.
  • Strong product management skills with experience in modern, outcome-focused practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, comfortable engaging both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Understanding of electrical grid operations, network modelling, and utility workflows.
  • Experience with software vendors serving energy, utilities, or other asset-intensive industries is advantageous.

Why Join?

  • Shape a flagship product used by leading utilities and grid operators worldwide.
  • Play a central role during a period of major product, cloud, and organizational transformation.
  • Join a company known for its collaborative culture, strong reputation, and international reach.
  • Work with a leadership team committed to innovation, transparency, and long-term product excellence.

If you're a product leader ready to drive innovation and scale impactful solutions for the energy and utilities sector, we'd love to meet you.
