About the role
We are seeking an experienced **Brand Ambassador and Retailer Trainer** to represent Sage Appliances. This role combines in-depth coffee knowledge, strong training skills, and a passion for inspiring others. You will be the face of Sage in retail environments and with our coffee partners, helping us strengthen our reputation as a leading coffee company.

This role is accountable for building strong, results-focused relationships with key resellers, driving commercial outcomes through joint business planning, and ensuring every interaction strengthens brand performance and sell-through.

This is a hunter role, but hunting here means continuously driving growth within existing and next-tier accounts - turning relationships into measurable, repeatable sales results. The successful candidate will be a recognised presence within the specialty coffee community, commercially astute, and able to translate brand ambition into customer action.

Key responsibilities include
* Delivering engaging training sessions for retailer store staff to build confidence and expertise in Sage's coffee machines.

*Deliver profitable sales growth across Retail within the assigned region.

* Acting as a brand ambassador by representing Sage Appliances at events, retailer activations, and coffee community gatherings.

* Supporting and inspiring partner roasters, ensuring they can successfully showcase and sell Sage machines.

* Providing hands-on demonstrations and guidance to elevate the customer and partner experience.

* Building strong relationships with retail teams, roasters, and key coffee community stakeholders.

* Staying up to date with specialty coffee trends and translating them into relevant insights for training and brand storytelling.

*Identify and unlock new opportunities within current and next-tier specialty dealers.

* Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and impactful retail presence.

*Maintain direct visibility on performance, pipeline, and forecasts across all managed accounts.

*Spend at least 40% of time in market with next-tier accounts - driving brand visibility, sell-through, and expansion.

*Maintain 25% of time managing accounts virtually through structured planning and review cycles.

*Work face-to-face with key accounts (15%) to strengthen relationships and deliver on commercial commitments.

*Support broader coffee community initiatives (≈20%) - including training, trade shows, and events that position BRG as the partner of choice for specialty coffee retailers.

We're Interested in Hearing from People Who Have:
* Proven experience in the coffee industry (Specialty coffee, barista, trainer, working with premium consumer goods or in a similar customer-facing role).

* Hunter mindset - able to turn relationships into sustained revenue growth.

* Skilled at building and executing joint business plans with partners.

* Strong presentation and training skills, with the ability to inspire and engage diverse audiences.

* Deep passion for specialty coffee, from bean to cup, and enthusiasm for sharing knowledge.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.

* Confidence in representing a premium brand in both retail and coffee community environments.

* A proactive, hands-on approach with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

* Flexibility to travel regularly to retail locations, roaster partners, and events.

* Fluency in German and proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Key Performance Indicators:
* Sales growth and margin vs target.

* Account-level business plan delivery.

* Brand penetration and multi-brand adoption across key dealers.

* Dealer portal engagement and transaction metrics.

* Pipeline conversion and forecast accuracy.

* Contribution to marketing and trade event success
