Commissioning/Service Engineer (Water Treatment/Pharma) - Stuttgart Area - Up to €85,000 (d / m / w)

Responsibilities

  • Commissioning and setup of water treatment systems, including ultrapure water, pure water, and wastewater installations, primarily for customers in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Organization and coordination of on-site commissioning activities
  • Support for fellow technicians and engineers during commissioning phases
  • Configuration, operation, and adjustment of Siemens PLC controllers (e.g., S7, TIA Portal)
  • Involvement in machine commissioning, including system startup and operational handover
  • Collaboration with internal project teams and customer representatives to ensure smooth project execution

Requirements

  • Completed a degree/training in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Process engineering, Plant Engineering, or similar
  • Experience with pharmaceutical or Water Treatment systems
  • Knowledge of automation and Siemens PLC control systems (S7 & TIA Portal, including operation and troubleshooting)
  • Experience in Project Management within construction site environments
  • Willingness to travel, as commissioning activities are carried out directly at customer sites (South Germany & Austria)
  • Fluency in German is
    mandatory
