We are looking for a highly motivated Trainee (m/f/d) who is excited to kickstart their career in one of today's most exciting tech fields. You won't just learn to build an app—you'll learn how to build the "engine room" for an LLM-based AI Factory. You'll work with Python, GCP (Serverless), and high-performance databases like ClickHouse—a tech stack that will set you up for the future.

Your Mission: Learn, Build, Grow

As a Trainee, you are a full member of the team from day one. You will be closely mentored by our Tribe Lead Engineering and senior developers, working at the intersection of backend and data engineering. Your goal is to internalize and apply the principles of "Pragmatic Craftsmanship" (clean, scalable code) and "Automate to Accelerate" (CI/CD).

What You'll Do

  • Learn & Build: You will support the design, development, and maintenance of our microservice infrastructure in Python (FastAPI).
  • Understand Data: You will learn how to optimize data flows and APIs for high-performance databases (ClickHouse) and ensure their integrity.
  • Write Real Code: You will participate in the entire development lifecycle—from writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews to supporting testing and deployments.
  • Absorb Knowledge: You will work closely with experienced engineers, ask questions, and contribute your own ideas.
  • Grow: You will leverage our learning organization to rapidly develop your technical skills through mentorship and challenging projects.

What You'll Bring

  • Education: A (nearly) completed degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Skills: Strong foundational skills in Python.
  • Passion: A genuine, demonstrable interest in our tech stack: backend development, cloud computing (GCP is a plus), and ideally AI/LLMs.
  • Mindset: You are curious, solution-oriented, and have a drive for "Continuous Improvement."
  • Language: Fluency in German (min. B1/2) is required.
