ABOUT THE POOL

As part of WFP's ongoing commitment to retaining and supporting our workforce during the times of change, this Pool has been established to support the potential hiring of former WFP Limited Fixed-Term (LFT), Short-Term Professional (STP), and Consultant (CST) contract holders whose contracts were not renewed or were terminated due to budget constraints or organizational restructuring. 

If you are an LFT, STP, or Consultant based in a Headquarters, Regional Office, Global Office, or Country Office, and your contract is ending or ended, you are invited to express your interest in future consultancy opportunities through this platform. Please submit your personal information, qualifications, and work preferences so that you may be considered for relevant openings aligned with your profile.

•    Your profile will remain active on the Pool for two years from the date of enrollment.

•    Hiring managers and/or HR officers may contact you directly if a suitable short-term opportunity arises.

Important Notes:


•    For CSTs, please note that the applicable staffing framework policy remains in effect, including provisions on eligibility and the maximum allowable contract duration.

•    Inclusion in the Consultancy Pool by former LFT or STP staff is entirely voluntary. It is important to understand that consultancy contracts differ significantly from staff appointments in terms of employment. Individuals will be required to acknowledge and confirm their understanding of these differences when enrolling.
