Tasks

  • Responsibility for handling operational purchasing activities for order processing with a focus on electrical engineering/electronics
  • Supplier support, evaluation, and negotiations, including contract drafting and order processing
  • Close cooperation with specialist departments, in particular quality management
  • Invoice verification, including account assignment and approval
  • Coordination and handling of projects with internal and external partners, support with reporting, e.g., KPIs, supplier evaluation, etc.
  • Review of overarching purchasing regulations (e.g., compliance, governance, legal framework conditions)
  • Master data maintenance (suppliers, articles, dates)

Requirements

  • Commercial training with a technical background, ideally as a technical business economist (m/f/d) specializing in electrical engineering
  • Relevant professional experience in the procurement of technical products and their processing on national and international procurement markets
  • Experience in price negotiations and contract conclusions
  • Knowledge of export, ideally US re-export
  • Strong communication skills, confident manner and negotiating skills, as well as cross-functional thinking and acting
  • Very good MS Office and ERP skills (AMS)
  • Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
