CAE Supervisor – Automotive Interiors (m/f/d) | CAIP Munich

Join CAIP, a leading manufacturer of high-quality injection-molded automotive interior components, as we expand in Europe We are looking for an experienced
CAE Supervisor
to lead CAE activities at our Munich site and drive the technical development of our team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Implement European OEM CAE standards for interior components (instrument panels, consoles, doors, pillars, etc.).
  • Lead CAE modeling & analysis: NVH, stiffness, crash, durability, BSR, airbag deployment, CFD.
  • Guide material card development & validation for interior materials.
  • Train and mentor the CAE team to handle European projects independently.
  • Develop automation tools (Python, Tcl/Tk) and interpret European safety regulations.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Mechanical/Vehicle Engineering, Mechanics, or Materials Science
  • 3+ years CAE experience with European OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers
  • Proficient in HyperMesh, ANSA, HyperView, OptiStruct, Nastran, Abaqus, LS-Dyna, PamCrash, OpenFOAM, Star-CCM+
  • Fluent in English & German; Chinese is a plus
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and project-management skills
