Trading Strategist

Your new position:

• Short and medium term quantitative and qualitative analysis of German / European energy markets, based on fundamental data, technical analyses, and statistical methods
• Creation, implementation and improvement  of market reports, tools and dashboards in order to provide active decision support for trading activities
• Active exchange with traders,  preparation of short and medium-term trading strategies and recommendations, follow-up through ex-post performance analysis
• Analysis and support in the development and implementation of potential new business ideas and cases (cross-border, VPPs, algorithmic trading, etc)

Your profile:

• A degree in mathematics, physics, computer science, engineering or economics (diploma or master's degree) or a comparable qualification
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills as well as a deep understanding of statistical models and methods
• Extensive programming experience (ideally in Python) and specific knowledge of Big Data technologies
• Ideally, several years of professional experience in the energy or financial sector with a focus on energy trading / energy markets
• Very good command of written and spoken English, Prior German knowledge and/or Willingness to learn German is a plus
• Initiative, curiosity to grasp connections and the ability to act entrepreneurially
