In this role, you will leverage your expertise to establish strong relationships with suppliers and customers, manage trading opportunities, and optimize inventories to meet the growing demand in the global market. • Source, buy, and sell a variety of nuts (almonds, cashews, walnuts, etc.) and dried fruits (raisins, apricots, figs, etc.) globally.
• Develop and maintain relationships with producers, processors, and customers to expand our trading network.
• Identify market trends, pricing movements, and supply/demand dynamics to make informed trading decisions.
• Negotiate trade contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with suppliers and customers.
• Monitor and manage logistics, quality control, and inventory to ensure timely and efficient product delivery.
• Collaborate with the finance team to manage risk and optimize cash flow.
• Prepare and present market analysis and trading reports to senior management.
• Engage in supply chain management to ensure quality assurance from origin to end customer.
• Participate in trade shows and industry events to represent the company and network within the industry.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
• 3–7 years of experience in trading nuts, dried fruits, or related commodities.
• Strong understanding of global market dynamics, pricing structures, and industry trends.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record in contract negotiation.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills—ability to analyze data trends and market statistics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and trading software; experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build rapport with stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and German is a must; additional languages (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) are a plus.
• Willingness to travel for supplier meetings, market visits, and industry events.
