You main tasks:
  • Define, explore and develop innovation areas to open future growth fields for Fresenius Kabi
  • Identify and analyse medical trends, needs, new developments as well as competitor activities in nutrition science and adjacent fields
  • Conduct in-depth reviews of new scientific publications and other public information to spot trends and potential opportunities for innovations (includes gaining insights from scientific and patient communities)
  • Scout new opportunities and ideas for Fresenius Kabi on congresses
  • Screen (e.g. via ) and summarise new/ongoing studies for e.g. pre-defined therapeutic areas
  • Manage ideation processes and early innovation projects within the medical department
  • Provide medical-scientific input for idea generation and evaluations
  • Develop and align new product concepts
  • Establish methods and tools for trend and idea scanning and foster their usage (e.g. based on Artificial Intelligence (AI))
  • Concept and manage medical-scientific innovation workshops, brainstorming sessions and Advisory Boards involving cross-functional teams (including external Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
  • Set-up and steer external advisory networks
  • Support global and long-term innovation initiatives
  • Analyse competitors' pipelines and scientific advancements
  • Evaluate IIT proposals and manage IITs according to internal processes and legal/ compliance requirements
  • Supervise working student employees in scientific tasks
Your profile:
  • You have a graduate degree in natural science, medicine, nutrition or pharmacy; a doctoral degree is desirable
  • You gained extensive experience in the healthcare industry, preferred in clinical research, medical-scientific affairs and/ or innovation management
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; other languages highly welcome
  • You are known for your analytical thinking, as well as your innovative mindset, with the ability to organize and prioritize work
  • You have an excellent communication, organizational and team skills
  • You are highly committed and flexible
