Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechatronics Engineer, located in Oberursel. The Mechatronics Engineer will help co-design and test autonomous robotic systems and components. Key tasks include system integration of mechanical, electrical, and software subsystems, prototyping, troubleshooting, and iterative optimization. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, documenting technical specifications, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The engineer will also be engaged in research and development activities to support innovation and continuous improvement in robotic systems.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in mechanical design and CAD software for developing robotic components
  • Strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems, including circuit design and embedded systems
  • Experience with software control systems for robotics.
  • Skills in system integration, prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting robotic systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and manage project timelines effectively
  • Knowledge of AI, machine learning, and automation technologies is a plus
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related engineering field
  • Prior experience in robotics, automation, or related industries is preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation and excellence
