Ihr Aufgabenbereich
Als Aussendienst Techniker führen Sie Serviceleistungen für Hologic Produkte im Aussendienst durch und bieten Kunden ein hohes Mass an Service bei der Installation, Reparatur, Wartung oder Verbesserung von Hardware- und / oder Softwareprodukten.

Ihre Verantwortlichkeiten
Als Aussendiensttechniker werden Sie innerhalb Deutschlands nach Bedarf und gelegentlich im Ausland reisen, um:

  • Wartung- und Reparaturarbeiten an Hologic Produkten durchzuführen
  • An Planungen von Installationen teilzunehmen
  • Installation von Geräten kundenseitig durchzuführen
  • Kontakt mit IT-Abteilungen der Kunden aufzunehmen und Unterstützung bei der Problembehandlung von Informationssystemen zu gewährleisten
  • Marketing/Verkaufs Aktivitäten während Veranstaltungen zu unterstützen

Ihre Qualifikationen
Sie bringen mit

  • Eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung im Bereich Medizin-/Elektrotechnik
  • Die Fähigkeit, Fehlersuche an elektrischen, elektronischen, pneumatischen und mechanischen Systemen durchzuführen
  • Einsatzbereitschaft, Flexibilität und ein verbindliches Auftreten. Sie können sich zeitlich flexibel auf die Anforderungen dieser Position einstellen
  • Ein hohes Maß an Engagement und eine selbstständige, zuverlässige und strukturierte Arbeitsweise, die Sie auszeichnet
  • Deutsch und Englisch in Wort und Schrift
  • Erste Erfahrungen im Röntgenbereich sowie einen Röntgen/Strahlenschutzschein sind von grossem Vorteil

Field Service Engineer – Medizintechniker / Aussendiensttechniker

Role Location – Hamburg, Germany

Our field service engineers are instrumental in providing first class customer experience when repairing and maintaining our products on customer sites.

We're thrilled to be looking for a talented Field Service Engineer to join our team covering our diagnostics and medical imaging equipment across Lower Saxony and North Germany. To service the territory successfully you will be based around Hamburg area.

We're looking for people who have engineering experience (electrical/mechanical) ideally from within a medical device background, are happy to be in the field travelling to support our customers and who love troubleshooting and finding solutions.

The role will provide a high level of service to customers on the installation, repair, service, maintenance, or enhancement of hardware and/or software products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance and repair work on Hologic products
  • Install instruments at customer sites
  • Liaise with customer IT departments and assist with information systems installations and troubleshooting
  • Support marketing activities such as exhibitions
  • Routinely complete administrative work, such as but not limited to: Time Reports, Expense Reports, Equipment Site Assessments, Inventory Reports, Equipment Checklists and Field Service Reports
  • Provide basic use\maintenance training to customers
  • Perform duties and responsibilities with autonomy in a field-based environment

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • Experience working in similar/comparable customer-based or laboratory environment
  • Effective Time Management Skills
  • Ability to accurately diagnose issues as described over the phone by Field Service Engineers/customers
  • X-ray experience and current X-ray/radiation protection certificate will be advantageous
  • Proficient use of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Basic knowledge of network and interfacing with the ability to progress though training
  • Good level of spoken and written German and English
