Intern - Leveraged Finance Germany (all genders) at Corporate and Institutional Banking

Tasks & Responsibilities: What awaits you

• Working on pitch processes, in cooperation with various teams across the bank (Coverage, M&A, ECM, Syndicate)
• Interacting with internal stakeholders
• Maintaining high degree of market awareness
• Providing support in the day-to-day execution of live deals
• Preparing thoughtful cash flow projection models, driven by detailed assessment of business and economic conditions
• Assisting in the production of internal credit / capital markets memoranda, including advanced financial statement analysis
• Conducting issuer due diligence and identify significant business, industry and financial strengths and risks
• Ensuring that all regulatory and commercial training is completed on time and refreshed as required
• Responsible for adherence to the Bank's corporate policies, to its internal Compliance regulations as well as to appropriate external Regulators

Expertise & Soft Skills: What you offer

• A degree from a leading university with an excellent academic record
• Previous experience in corporate banking, consulting teams, private equity or similar is essential
• Outstanding analytical skills
• Adept at receiving and synthesizing information
• Proven credit / risk analysis skills
• Strong team player with good communication skills
• Hard worker, reliable and eager to learn
• Fluent in English and German (preferred), another EU language would be beneficial
