About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ADAS Architect to lead the design and development of advanced driver assistance systems for next-generation vehicles. The role involves defining system architecture, ensuring compliance with automotive standards, and driving innovation in safety, perception, and autonomous functionalities. The ADAS Architect will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, suppliers, and OEMs to deliver scalable and future-proof solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Define end-to-end ADAS/Automated Driving system architecture, covering sensors, perception, fusion, decision, and control domains.
Translate functional and performance requirements into system and software architecture.
Evaluate and integrate sensor technologies (camera, radar, LiDAR, ultrasonic, GPS/IMU).
Drive the development of real-time embedded software, middleware, and interfaces.
Ensure compliance with automotive standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE, AUTOSAR, ISO/SAE
Work with AI/ML engineers for perception and sensor fusion algorithms.
Collaborate with hardware, software, and test teams to ensure seamless integration.
Perform system-level trade-off analysis (safety, cost, power, and performance).
Define and review system validation strategies (MIL, SIL, HIL, and vehicle testing).
Act as a technical authority and mentor for ADAS engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years in automotive software development, with 5+ years in ADAS/Autonomous Driving.
- Strong knowledge of sensor technologies (camera, radar, LiDAR, ultrasonic).
- Expertise in ADAS functions such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Automated Parking, and Highway Pilot.
- Proficiency in AUTOSAR (Classic & Adaptive), middleware, and embedded systems.
- Experience with functional safety (ISO and cybersecurity (ISO/SAE
- Hands-on experience with model-based design (MATLAB/Simulink) and real-time operating systems.
- Strong systems engineering and requirements management background (DOORS, Polarion, etc.).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with sensor fusion frameworks and deep learning algorithms.
- Familiarity with simulation platforms (CarMaker, PreScan, VTD, etc.).
- Exposure to SOA-based architectures and cloud integration for connected ADAS features.
- Leadership in cross-functional, multi-site teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
