Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Quality Assurance Engineer. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing test plans and test cases. Daily tasks will include debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing software applications through manual and automated testing. The role also involves close collaboration with developers and product managers to identify and resolve quality issues, and to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions to meet client requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in software testing, test automation, and debugging
- Experience with testing frameworks, scripting languages, and test management tools
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in identifying and addressing software vulnerabilities and performance issues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Industry certifications, such as ISTQB, are a plus
