Are you ready to join our team and help us deliver the next groundbreaking Apple products?nnAs a senior member of our CAD team, you will architect, develop, maintain and enhance simulation methodologies and solutions for our Analog, RF and mixed-signal designs, and beyond. Your work will include architecting new solutions, supporting and expanding existing in-house or EDA vendor products.
Description
As a CAD engineering expert you will be supporting our hardware development team. You will be closely collaborating with Analog/RF circuit designers, analysing and understanding use scenarios, and developing or enhancing automation frameworks. You will closely work with EDA vendors by sharing feedback on observed issues, defining specs for new solutions and tracking progress. Further you will collaborate with in-house CAD disciplines within custom design environment and beyond.
Minimum Qualifications
Strong knowledge and experience in Cadence simulation (ADE/Assembler) and/or design environment (schematic/layout).nExperience in architecting and supporting automation solutions.nOverall proficiency in virtuoso ecosystem.
Preferred Qualifications
Solid fundamentals and experience in programming languages like Python, Perl, SKILL.nFundamentals and experience in AI/LLM algorithms and architectures.nExperience in Unix IT infrastructure, debugging (strace, bash scripting).nStrong problem-solving and communication skills (English).
