We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to join our team, with a focus on industrial automation systems and robotics. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of industrial robots (specifically KUKA KRC), network configuration, and automation processes, including PLC communication setup and troubleshooting.

You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that involve automation technologies, with travel opportunities to client sites worldwide.

As an Automation Engineer, you will be a key player in standard product installation and commissioning, system analysis in our automated solutions, and troubleshooting to optimize production processes. Location: Ingolstadt, Germany + Global Travel

Type: Full-Time

Aufgaben
  • Robot Programming: Using advanced software to control industrial robots for automated quality control systems.
  • Network Configuration: Set up and manage seamless communication between robotic systems, PLCs, and measurement devices.
  • System Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve issues to optimize automation processes and minimize downtime.
  • Technical Support: Provide on-site and remote assistance to clients and internal teams, with proper documentation.
  • Global Travel: Support system installations and troubleshooting at client sites worldwide.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, project teams, and clients, communicating in German and English.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest trends in automation and robotics.
Qualifikation
  • Education:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Robotics Engineering, or related field.
  • Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of KUKA KRC robots and network configuration.
  • Strong 3D thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with automation technologies and industrial network protocols (EtherCAT, Profinet is a plus).
  • Languages:Proficient in English (German is a bonus).
  • Flexibility:Willingness to travel globally and adapt to new technologies.
  • Team Player:Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
