Our journey began in Denmark in 2016, and we're proud to now open our very first showroom in Germany – right here in Hamburg. Moebelkompagniet is a furniture company built on passion, honesty, and a strong customer focus. We aim to offer furniture we would proudly own ourselves—at a price point that's accessible for most people. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for new colleagues to join our journey as soon as possible.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Advising and selling to our customers and visitors in the showroom
- Staying up to date on our products so you can confidently present them
- Ensuring the showroom always looks clean, welcoming, and inspiring
- Unpacking and setting up new products
As part of our showroom team, you'll play a key role in creating a great customer experience. While sales are important, your primary focus will be ensuring that everyone who walks through our doors feels welcome and inspired. This includes both the visual presentation of the space and providing helpful, knowledgeable guidance – something we will continuously support you in through training.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in customer service, retail, or sales assistance
- Eagerness and readiness to learn quickly
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain an overview
- Flexibility and reliability, able to work weekdays and weekends
- Fluency in German and English (additional languages are a plus)
- Possibly have experience in the furniture, sales, or service industry
- Enjoy interacting with people and understanding their individual needs
- Thrive in a team by contributing across all tasks and sales
- Be proactive, punctual, and adaptable
- Handle a sometimes fast-paced work environment with ease

Practical Information
We are looking to fill the position as soon as possible. Shifts will typically fall between 10 AM and 7 PM, Monday to Saturday. You should be available for at least one weekday shift (e.g. 2 PM–7 PM) and every second weekend (e.g. 10 AM–6 PM). During peak periods such as summer, Christmas, and winter holidays, additional hours may become available to cover vacation absences.
