Security
In line with security requirements for the concerned missions of this position, the candidate has to hold a European citizenship. Evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process. Furthermore, in view of the nature of the work the company is in, all potential employees will undergo stringent reference and identity checks.
Requirements
- Coordinate and interface with the GMS, SECMON and GCS prime and subcontractor the activities in the LAN Galileo Networks (e.g. MDDN, SDDN and EDDN) and the IT infrastructure.
- Support the system team in managing the interface with the WAN (GDDN and GRON), which is provided under EUSPA contract. This includes support to ensure technical compliance of Customer Undertakings and Customer Furnished Items.
- Support and monitor planning and delivery requirements for the Ground Segment and System teams.
- Manage interfaces within the Ground Segment and with other segments (e.g., Space Segment, System test beds).
- Coordinate with ESA for the service and OPS-O Galileo Support Delivery Coordinator.
- Travel: Approximately 12 European missions per year, depending on the supported program.
Responsibilities
- A degree in Aerospace Engineering, IT, or a similar subject.
- Solid experience in network and IT infrastructure, including procurement, integration, and operations.
- Proven track record in system engineering, ideally within GNSS (Galileo) or space programmes.
- Ability to manage requirements for large space projects, including requirement breakdown, tracing, and change management.
- Fluent in English, both in speech and writing.
