Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive, pragmatic, and business-minded Legal Counsel to join BCG's Global Legal Team and serve as the lead legal advisor for Inverto. While approximately 75% of the role will focus on Inverto, the remaining time will involve supporting broader BCG commercial legal work, offering exposure to the full range of legal issues within a top-tier consulting environment.

This role combines deep commercial contracting responsibility with broad-based legal advisory support across corporate, employment, and compliance matters. You will also be instrumental in helping Inverto expand into new jurisdictions and business lines, working in close collaboration with Inverto's leadership and the wider BCG Legal Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial Contracting & Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts.
• Lead Legal Support for Inverto: Act as the dedicated point of contact for all legal matters affecting Inverto.
• Risk Management & Legal Operations: Identify commercial, compliance, and reputational risks.
• Cross-functional Legal Support: Flag and coordinate employment, privacy, disputes, and governance matters.
• Business Enablement & Expansion: Advise on new market entries and strategic initiatives.
• Collaboration: Integrate into the Global Legal Team and contribute to knowledge-sharing.

What You'll Bring

• Licensed German Attorney (Volljurist/in) or equivalent.
• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken), and ability to negotiate and draft complex legal terms in both languages.
• At least 5 years of experience in commercial contracting, preferably with an international scope.
• In-house or law firm experience in consulting/procurement sectors.
• Familiarity with GDPR, ESG, and cross-border legal matters.
