About the position

We're looking for a friendly, self-motivated and quality-focused barista to run a small espresso bar in a coworking space in Düsseldorf. You'll be the sole coffee professional on-site, responsible for preparing espresso-based drinks for members and guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and smooth coffee service during the morning and early afternoon hours.

This is a no-cash, no-food service. Your focus will be on excellent drinks, clean and consistent service, and light upkeep of the bar area.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare high-quality espresso drinks and maintain a consistent coffee service
  • Open and close the bar independently
  • Maintain cleanliness and order of the bar and seating area
  • Engage warmly with the guests, creating a welcoming environment
  • Manage supplies (milk, beans, cups) and report low stock
  • Monitor equipment and report any technical issues
Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working solo or in a specialty coffee setting
  • Confident with espresso machines and dialling in
  • Great interpersonal skills and a calm, can-do attitude
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
  • Attention to detail and pride in clean presentation
  • Fluent in English & a good level of German (B1)

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of brewing techniques, and basic machine maintenance
  • Passion for creating a positive atmosphere in shared spaces
  • Previous experience in a coworking or office coffee setting
