We're looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join our Sales Engineering team in Germany focussing on our Enterprise customers. Based in Germany and reporting to the Sales Engineering Manager, working in a hybrid environment your responsibilities include:

  • Presenting the Zscaler cloud security platform to existing and prospective customers
  • Partnering with account executives to drive deal success by articulating Zscaler's technical benefits and competitive advantages
  • Taking ownership of and driving Proof of Value (POV) engagements from discovery through to successful completion
  • Being the trusted advisor to our clients while aiding their transformational journey
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including product management and customer success, to turn insights into ongoing improvements for customers

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications):

  • You have 5+ years of experience as a Presales Sales Engineer or systems integrator
  • You have knowledge of enterprise network or cloud security technologies
  • You have experience leading large technical engagements with multiple stakeholders including c-level executives
  • You have experience working with sales to identify, qualify and scope opportunities, build account and territory plans, and deliver proof of concept / value engagements to convert opportunities into technical wins
  • You have a strong network of customers and partners across the region 

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  • You have experience communicating complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences and you stay up to date with industry trends and competitive solutions, products, and services.
  • You have Industry certifications - e.g. CISSP, CCIE, SANS
  • You speak fluent German
