Your mission
As the Senior Sales & Proposals Manager, you will lead and manage the development of compelling and winning bids for defence contracts. Reporting to the SVP of Nordics, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the engagement with the customer as well as political stakeholders, bid process, ensuring compliance with our internal processes and implementing a robust gate review governance approach. This role can be located in Stockholm, the Öresund Region or in Berlin.
Responsibilities
Build up a strong and reliable customer & partner network with stakeholders within politics, relevant administrating bodies as national procurement agencies and the defence forces and possible industry partners.
Lead and manage the full bid lifecycle, from opportunity identification through to submission and contract award.
Establish and embed a gate review governance approach to ensure consistent, high-quality inputs for decision-making.
Collaborate with subject matter experts, technical teams, and BD personnel to develop compelling and compliant proposals.
Develop and maintain a library of reusable content, templates, and proposal resources.
Ensure all proposals are submitted on time and within budget through a master bid planning schedule
Contribute to post-bid reviews to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and government procurement regulations.
Collaborate within the Go-to-Market area to develop best practices.
Be ready to further develop and lead a regional Nordic Team in the future
Qualifications
Proven experience in managing and winning large, complex bids, preferably in the defence sector or for government contracts.
Professional experience within the military, defence industry or relevant government organisations/ authorities are highly welcome.
Excellent project management, organisational, and time management skills.
Strong written, communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment with a strong drive for innovation and continuous improvement.
Must be able to communicate fluently and professionally in at least Swedish and/or Norwegian and English.
Eligible to obtain and maintain Security Clearance.
