ABOUT THE JOB

The Senior IT Consultant FI/CO collects, structures, and translates business requests for specific SAP modules, acting as functional owner to ensure the quality and completeness of change content. You are responsible for the coordination and steering of these efforts, which includes shaping the roadmap, driving requirements engineering, and ensuring alignment between business needs and the overall organizational strategy.

JOB DESCRIPTION

/ Gather and clarify business requirements for SAP FI/CO - Core Finance - General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Tax, Controlling and Treasury
/ Provide expert-level support in SAP FI/CO including consulting, configuration, process optimization and compliance
/ Deliver SAP FI/CO localization expertise across European markets, ensuring alignment with statutory and fiscal requirements
/ Conduct requirements engineering to gather and analyze business needs and translate them into SAP solutions
/ Act as a bridge between the business and the AMS team to ensure efficient and effective support
/ Coordinate and steer the roadmap to align with business needs and organizational strategy
/ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of SAP solutions with business objectives

YOUR SKILLS

/ University degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field
/ Familiarity with SAP-specific packaging and reporting for the US and Brazil is a plus
/ Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA for tax configuration and compliance within financial processes
/ Proven experience in coordinating AMS teams and managing third-party service providers
/ Engineering skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
/ Experience with agile methodologies is considered an advantage
/ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
/ Relevant experience in managing different stakeholders by communicating in a target group specific manner
/ Quick to adapt to evolving SAP landscapes and business requirements
