Your tasks

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented student to support the "E/E Vehicle Architecture Team" in modeling and optimizing the Low Voltage Power Supply System. From day one, you will actively contribute to the development of the HOLON Urban, creating real impact and adding value to the project. In this role, you will work on simulation-based improvements for energy efficiency and system robustness. You'll collaborate with experienced engineers, gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools and methodologies, and have the unique opportunity to learn directly from automotive experts.

Your tasks:

  • Optimize an existing MATLAB/Simulink model of the Low Voltage Power Supply System
  • Utilize Simscape Electrical and Simscape Thermal toolboxes for system simulation
  • Validate and improve the fusing strategy for electrical protectionIdentify optimization opportunities for cable lengths and cross-sections
  • Highlight potential improvements in energy efficiency and implement changes across domains
  • Prepare and present simulation results


Your profile
  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of Simulink is required; experience with Simscape is a plus
  • You work independently and are eager to learn new topics
  • Strong analytical mindset and interest in electrical systems

  • You have good communication skills and can present technical results clearly

The HOLON urban is a fully electric and autonomous vehicle for use on public roads. It is one of the world's first movers to meet automotive standards – leading the way in safety, ride comfort and production quality. The vehicle operates at a top speed of 60 kilometers / 37 miles per hour and can accommodate up to 15 passengers.

The HOLON urban is barrier-free and offers an automated ramp, a secured wheelchair space and auditory and visual support for passengers. In addition to conventional scheduled services, the mover is to be used as an on-demand means of transport in order to meet the mobility needs of users.
