The ''Contrarian Mind'' Profile: You are a highly organized and detail-oriented accountant with fluent German language skills, both written and spoken, essential for our German portfolio companies. You possess a strong understanding of international accounting principles and German financial regulations. You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and are proactive in identifying and implementing efficient financial processes. Your analytical skills are sharp, and you're adept at managing multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy. You are proficient in Excel, have a solid grasp of accounting knowledge (in and out), and are good at prompting. Experience with startup environments or venture capital accounting is a significant plus, and you possess presentable knowledge.

You will be instrumental in:

• Comprehensive Accounting Management: Handling all aspects of accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, with a strong understanding of both German and international accounting principles.
  
• Invoice Management: Expertly writing, processing, and managing invoices for our German portfolio companies and other entities.
  
• Operational Cost Analysis: Accurately calculating and analyzing overall operational costs to support strategic financial planning.
  
• Financial Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for EX Venture and its German-speaking entities.
  
• Reporting & Analysis: Preparing financial statements, reports, and analyses to support management decision-making and investor relations.
  
• Compliance & Auditing: Ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations, including German tax laws, and assisting with audits.
  
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Supporting the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
  
• German Stakeholder Communication: Liaising with German-speaking partners, clients, and authorities on financial matters.
