Junior Finance Operations Manager

Your future team

Join our international, cross-functional Finance Operations team, where we sit at the exciting intersection of Finance Operations, Payments, and Fraud Management. We are a dynamic team, dedicated to enhancing and automating financial processes for the end-to-end money flow across the Holidu Group and its subsidiaries. Our mission is to drive operational excellence through a data-driven approach, dynamic project management, and a sharp focus on ensuring a seamless experience for our customers and internal stakeholders. Your role in this journey

This is an entry-level role designed to immerse you in the core of our operations. You will be involved in our day-to-day activities, with significant opportunities to grow. Your primary focus will be to support senior team members while building your own expertise across our Finance, Payments, and Fraud verticals.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Providing crucial operational support to senior teammates by performing daily tasks such as ticket management, payment processing, transaction reconciliation, and fraud monitoring.
• Assisting with data analysis to help identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement in our financial processes.
• Resolving daily queries from internal and external stakeholders, providing clear and helpful financial guidance.
• Ensuring the highest quality of financial data by maintaining meticulous attention to detail in all tasks.
• Exposure to strategic projects, giving a foundation for your project management skills.

Your backpack is filled with

• A recent degree or equivalent experience in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
• A highly operational and proactive mindset; you're eager to roll up your sleeves and support the team with essential tasks.
• A keen interest in working with data analysis and optimizations.
• Problem-solving oriented, focused on continuous improvements and solutions to benefit the team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
• Excellent organisational skills and a meticulous eye for detail.
• A willingness to learn the intricacies of our business to fully understand the challenges we face.
• (Bonus) First experiences or a strong academic interest in payments, fraud, or financial reconciliation.
• (Bonus) Interest in Google Scripts, Python and AI, and on Looker or similar visualization tools.
